POSTPONED - Three Minute Thesis Competition
April 25, 10:00am - 1:30pmMānoa Campus, Business Administration Building
In three minutes you can listen to a song, watch a TedTalk, or over-analyze a text message, but can you effectively communicate your thesis or dissertation in an engaging way to a non-specialist audience? We think you can! Graduate Division is proud to announce its Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition on Saturday, April 25, 2020. We hope you can join us for this exciting event.
Participants of this competition will be challenged to explain their thesis or dissertation research in three minutes or less in a spoken-word format (no raps, songs, videos, etc.) using one (1) static MS PowerPoint slide (no animations, special effects, music, etc.).
For eligibility, judging criteria, and more information, please visit our webpage. Participants must register between March 9 and April 13, 2020, 11:59 PM. Members of the Â鶹´«Ã½community and public are welcome to attend this free event. Seating is limited.
In addition to bragging rights for your department or program, the First place winner will be awarded a $2,000 merit scholarship, $1,000 to the Runner Up, and $1,000 to the People's Choice. Are you up for the challenge?
