Faith Mishina is an assistant professor in Spanish at UH Hilo.
She is described as a committed teacher who helps students learn another language by using it as a window into the larger world of global opportunities.
The Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching recognizes dedication and demonstrated excellence as teachers of undergraduate students. It was established as a memorial to the late Frances Davis, who taught mathematics at Leeward Community College and 麻豆传媒Manoa for 19 years.
