2025 ARCS Scholars—exceptional Â鶹´«Ã½Manoa PhD students STEM fields—will present their research on topics from nanobubbles, giant viruses, and minerals on mars to endangered gardenia trees in Hawai‘i, structural health of buildings, and cardioprotection in diabetes. Attendance and parking are free; refreshments will be provided.
The 19 scholars were selected by their departments to receive prestigious ARCS Scholar Awards, which include $6,000 unrestricted grants from ARCS Foundation Honolulu Chapter. Two will be selected for Scholar of the Year honors, to be announced at the ARCS Scholar Awards Banquet on May 5.
