Kilo Hōkū with Dr. Ka‘iulani Murphy

Spotlight Speaker: Dr. Kaiulani Murphy (Kumu, HonCC and 鶹ýԴDz; Hōkūleʻa Navigator) Dr. Kaʻiulani Murphy was born and raised in Waimea and Waipiʻo on the island of Hawaiʻi. A hoʻokele course at 鶹ýԴDz led her to Hōkūleʻa over twenty years ago. Since then she's had the privilege to voyage throughout our pae ʻāina and Oceania while learning from extraordinary mentors. Dr. Murphy enjoys teaching courses in Hawaiian astronomy and navigation at Honolulu Community College and 鶹ýԴDz. Date & Time: April 1, Wednesday at 6:30 - 7:30 PM Location: Puʻu o Kaimukī (951 Koko Head Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816) ** Spaces limited to 30 participants ("first-come, first-serve" via sign-up form).
