“Hope You Find What You're Looking For: ChatGPT, AI, and its violence against marginalized communities” This talk is based on an interview with ChatGPT on neural nets, the algorithmic basis of so-called AI, including Google's strange Deep Dreams image producer, predictive policing systems in use around the US, military deployment of AI in targeting Gaza, and ultimately, ChatGPT itself. The talk promises to be "serious fun," to borrow the theme of a conference from a few years ago. Hybrid Participation Welcome! zoom link: http://tinyurl.com/hopeufindit zoom password: hopeufind
