SHELLS Vision Boarding Workshop
June 29, 12:00pm - 3:00pmMānoa Campus, 1410 Lower Campus Rd #171F
H-PEP, the Hawaii Positive Engagement Project, is hosting a free workshop for UHM faculty and staff who want to learn more about the SHELLS bookmaking process. SHELLS stands for Storytelling for the Home Enrichment of Language and Literacy Skills. The activity for this session is the creation of vision boards! H-PEP has done SHELLS with other activities such as nature walk, lauhala weaving, parent keiki dance party, Bishop Museum tour, Imiloa planetarium tour, and more. If you have an idea for a unique activity for a SHELLS workshop, please let us know! We are always looking for community partners. Usually, SHELLS is done with keiki but this workshop is only for adults to learn the process. After you create your vision board, you will make a book about the process.
