As part of the conference "Empires in Motion" (3/21-3/23), this forum will take a closer look at the adaptation of Min Jin Lee’s acclaimed novel Pachinko into a prestige drama for Apple TV+, which is scheduled to premiere on March 25, 2022. Soo Hugh, the showrunner of Pachinko, will be joining us virtually to talk about the process of bringing this fictional story of a multi-generational zainichi family to life on the screen. The event will begin with a moderated discussion followed by a Q&A with the audience.
