Korean Diaspora Talk 1: Discussions with creators of Documentary: Puzzle

The Center for Korean Studies presents, "Korean Diaspora Talk 1: Discussions with Creators of "Documentary: Puzzle" and "The Story of a Dream: Picture Bride" featuring Jeff Chung, President of KBFD-TV, Jeong Tae Lee, Producer of the documentaries, and Duk Hee Lee Murabayashi, President of the Korean Immigration Research Institute in Hawaii. KBFD-TV recently produced and aired these two documentaries in cooperation with the Center for Korean Studies to showcase Korean immigrants and their efforts in Hawaii. This event will discuss the background of the projects, the film work, and historical aspects of Korean immigration in Hawaii.
