Nā Pale O Kualakaʻi (the UHWO Aloha ʻĀina Service Club) presents: ULUNIU WORKDAYS at UHWO Student Garden/Hale behind Building D (Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00 Noon w/ Pot-Luck Lunch) - February 26 - March 26 - April 16 Recommended to have a hat, covered shoes and garden gloves. Tools will be provided. Bring water (it gets hot) and lunch or snack. Parking is available in the student parking lot. Be prepared to work in the hot sun. The Uluniu, located behind the Student Organic Garden UHWO Mala, is a small patch of land given to the club to start a Niu (coconut) nursery and Ulu (breadfruit) grove. This project is led by Nā Pale O Kualakaʻi (the UHWO Aloha ʻĀina Service Club) and advisors Indrajit Gunasekara and Aunty Manulani Meyer.
