Join us for an informational session about our interdisciplinary PhD in Communication & Information Sciences. Information and communication technologies are transforming society and impacting a cross section of human activity far greater than any innovation since the printing press. Our focus areas include information policy and planning, communication and information theories, community engagement, social informatics, human-computer interaction, digital business transformation and data science. Our interdisciplinary PhD in CIS includes the Department of Information and Computer Science and the Library and Information Science Program in the College of Natural Sciences, School of Communication in the College of Social Sciences, and the Department of Information Technology Management in the Shidler College of Business.
