Kynan Kawai grew up in Hawaii. Attending public school till 2009, he was then accepted into Kamehameha, Kea’au. From a town fueled by agriculture and hospitality, Kynan explored both to see which provided opportunities of interest. Being actively involved in agriculture & ranching, he decided it was essential to understand business.

However, in 2013, upon being accepted into Northern Arizona University for Business Management, he felt lost. Refocusing to Hotel & Restaurant Management was the perfect move. Working in Food & Beverage throughout college provided the skills needed to gain an Assistant Restaurant Manager Position at Fairmont Orchid in 2018. He expressed interest in focusing on colleague engagement & growth.

In 2021, he was offered a Talent Acquisition Manager position where he embraces the Accor Employee Value Proposition, “Be Limitless.”
