Lyn Ford is a fourth-generation Affrilachian storyteller, author and keynote speaker. She is recognized as one of the leading African-American voices in America. Her work has taken her across the United States and beyond its borders to Australia and Ireland. Lyn is a mentor to young authors, a leading workshop facilitator and teaching artist in the USA, and a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher. This past November, Lyn was a storyteller for the Freedom Stories Project of the International Storytelling Center.

Tuesday:  Life, Love, and Laughter – Affrilachian Tales for National Humor Month, from a fourth-generation storyteller.
Wednesday:  Stories for the Child’s Heart – On National Kindergarten Day, we’ll share stories of timeless humor and ageless heart.
Thursday:  Critters and Other Everyday Folks – Two-leggeds, four-leggeds, no-leggeds…Folktales from the once-upon-a-times when animals talked like people.
