Song & Storytelling from 麻豆传媒Hilo

The University of Hawai'i at Hilo gives the gift of song and stories to the 麻豆传媒'Ohana, Ola ka 'Olelo, Ola ke Kanaka i ke Mele - Language Lives, A People Lives Through Music in celebration of Hawaiian language month in February. 鈥淜a Le'a 'Ohana i na Mele Hawai'i鈥 will be presented by 麻豆传媒Hilo Associate Professor Kekoa Harman and his family members: Pelehonuamea Harman, a kumu at Ke Kula O Nawahiokalani'opu'u, Hawaiian Medium lab public charter school, Kalamanamana Harman, a 2019 graduate of Nawahi and a freshman at Dartmouth College, Kaumuali'i Harman and Nali'ipo'aimoku Harman, both students at Nawahi and Hi'iakaikawena'ula Harman who is 11 months old. The 'ohana Harman will share favorite songs and stories on their journey of learning as a family in Hawaiian-Medium Education from the early 2000鈥檚 to present.
