With more than 53 million gallons of cesspool sewage flowing to our streams and ocean every day in Hawaii, we are in serious need of innovative and affordable solutions! Tune in to Hawaii Sea Grant's YouTube Watch Party on Thurs Jan 21st at 4pm HST to learn about incineration toilets, self-contained aerobic treatment units, and “layer cakes” made of local materials that help to cultivate good bacteria, remove diseases, and digest excess nutrients in our waste. How to Participate: • Go to the YouTube URL for the watch party: https://youtu.be/alZ7Si6n104 • You can test ahead of time by going to the same link.
