HathiTrust: Finding and Using Digital Resources

Note: the presentation will be held using Zoom and will be limited to registered participants.

This hands-on workshop will introduce Hathi Trust, large-scale collaborative repository of digital content from over 100 research libraries, the Google Books project, and the Internet Archive. The collection includes over 6 million items available to download as PDFs or text documents.

Topics will include:

  • Overview of HathiTrust
  • Search strategies
  • Searching full text versus catalog records
  • Downloading and working with PDFs
  • Creating and finding collections

The presentation will also provide foundational skills for using HathiTrust's analytical tools.
