Disability Studies Film Festival

The UH-Manoa Disability Studies Initiative is excited to announce its first Disability Studies Film Festival, Friday, September 30th from 10am - 12:30pm. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held virtually and in-person at the Kennedy Theatre on campus. We will be showing three short films: "The Interviewer," "My Disability Roadmap," and "Kū Kanaka/Stand Tall." We will also have special guest speakers Gerard O’Dwyer, the actor from “The Interviewer,†and Marlene Booth, the Director of Kū Kanaka. After our speakers present, there will be a Q&A session for the audience.
