Tetine Sentell

Tetine Sentell is an associate professor in public health sciences at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at 麻豆传媒Manoa.

Highly adept at integrating advanced policy research, political theory and current events in healthcare system governance and administration, Sentell is described as an “insightful, expressive and enthusiastic teacher and colleague of tremendous value to the university.”

Sentell’s teaching goal is to make students feel they are a part of a dynamic process of knowledge, theory, and policy generation. She enjoys the engagement in preparing for a class and appreciates being able to use creativity to design activities to help students with various learning styles to engage with a topic.

Sentell is described by a colleague as a “masterful teacher who engenders a high degree of student preparedness and participation, resulting in teaching evaluations among the highest in her department.”
